We started Seeking Ceremony because it wasn’t easy to find ways to grieve, honour, or celebrate the big things happening in our lives. From marriage to divorce, IVF to miscarriage, moving homes to hearing the word ‘cancer’, we realized there was no guidebook for how to honour these significant life moments in a way that felt right to each of us. We don’t have strong religious or cultural backgrounds to draw from, so we needed to forge our own path. We looked to our heritage and history, to literature and mythology, as well as to folks around the world finding imaginative and modern ways to weave ceremony into their everyday. We compiled everything we learned here, for you. Our mission is to create a place where people can ask questions, learn from one another, build connections, and share stories from the heart.
